Access Health Group, LLC owns and operates CampusMD (“Access Health,” “we” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy applies to the personal information that we collect on the CampusMD website located at or any other site where this Privacy Policy is posted (“Site”). Anyone who visits, browses, or otherwise uses the Site or any of the services provided on or through the Site (collectively, “Service”), is subject to and bound by this Privacy Policy. Before using and submitting any information to, on or through the Service, please read this Privacy Policy. By using the Service, including the submission of any personal information, you acknowledge that you accept the practices and policies outlined in this Privacy Policy and consent to having your data transferred to or processed in the United States. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, you are not permitted to use the Service.

This Privacy Policy does not create rights enforceable by third parties.

This Privacy Policy covers the following areas:

  • What personally identifiable information is collected by Access Health through the Site;
  • How Access Health uses this information;
  • With whom Access Health may share this information;
  • What types of security procedures are in place to protect the loss, misuse or alteration of information under Access Health’s control; and

I. Information We Obtain

A. Information You Submit

You may choose to provide us with personal information through the Site, such as:

  • Contact information, such as your name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
  • Information about a relative, child and/or parent, including name, age, postal address, email address, or telephone number.
  • The university or college that you are attending or intend to attend.
  • Your user name, which could include personal information depending on what you choose for your user name.
  • Payment information, such as your payment card details, including the billing address.
  • Any other personal information in communications and other content you submit or share.


When you use our Site, we may collect certain information by automated means, using technologies such as cookies, Web server logs, Web beacons and JavaScript.

Cookies are files that websites send to your computer or other Internet-connected device to uniquely identify your browser or to store information or settings on your device. Our site may use HTTP cookies, HTML5 cookies, Flash cookies and other types of local storage (such as browser-based or plugin-based local storage). Your browser may tell you how to be notified when you receive certain types of cookies and how to restrict or disable certain cookies. You also may be able to delete your Flash cookies or adjust your Flash cookie settings by visiting the Adobe Flash Website Storage Settings Panel and Global Storage Settings Panel. In conjunction with the gathering of information through cookies, our Web servers may log information such as your device type, operating system type, browser type, domain, and other system settings, as well as the language your system uses and the country and time zone where your equipment is located. The Web server logs also may record information such as the address of the Web page that referred you to our site and the IP address of the equipment you use to connect to the Service. They also may log information about your interaction with this site, such as which pages you visit. To control which Web servers collect information by automated means, we may place tags on our Web pages called "Web beacons," which are small files that link Web pages to particular Web servers and their cookies. We also may send instructions to your device using JavaScript or other computer languages to gather the sorts of information described above and other details your interactions with the site.

We may use third-party Web analytics services on our Site. These service providers use the technology described above to help us analyze how users use the Site. The information collected by the technology (including your IP address) CampusMD will be disclosed to or collected directly by these service providers, who use the information to evaluate your use of the site.



As a reminder, Access Health does not create, receive, maintain or transmit any of your protected health information. We may use the information we collect through the Service to provide the Service and fulfill the immediate purpose for which it was requested, and for other purposes, which may include:

  • Providing, administering and communicating with you about products, services, events and promotions (including by sending you newsletters, coupons and other marketing communications).
  • Processing, recording and tracking your purchases and payments.
  • Processing, evaluating and responding to your requests, inquiries and applications.
  • Managing our customer information databases.
  • Creating, administering and communicating with you about your accounts.
  • Customizing your experience with our Service.
  • Operating, evaluating and improving our business (including developing new products and services; managing our communications; performing market research, data analytics and data appends; determining and managing the effectiveness of our advertising and marketing; analyzing our products and services; and performing accounting, auditing, billing, reconciliation and collection activities).
  • Protecting against and preventing fraud, unauthorized transactions, claims and other liabilities, and managing risk exposure and quality.
  • Complying with and enforcing applicable legal requirements, industry standards and our policies and terms, such as our Service Terms and Terms of Use Agreement.

In addition, through information that is collected in an automated way (see above) we track users in the aggregate and gather broad demographic information for aggregate uses. Such automated information is not linked to personal information and is not intended to be used to personally identify any user. This information is used solely for internal purposes to help us improve the experience of our users. We may share this information with any third parties.



The privacy and confidentiality of your information is important to Access Health. We share your information with third parties only if we have your permission or under the following circumstances.

Service Providers. We may share your information with third parties who perform services on our behalf. These third party service providers are contractually required or bound by law to protect your personal information and are permitted to use it only in accordance with the terms of our service agreements with them.

Business Transfers. Your information may be disclosed as part of any merger, acquisition, sale of company assets or transition of service to another provider. In the unlikely event of an insolvency, bankruptcy or receivership, your information also may be transferred as a business asset. If Access Health is involved in a transition of service to another provider, merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, you will be notified via email and/or a conspicuous notice on our website, which will include any choices you may have concerning your information.

Protection of Access Health and Others. We may access, monitor, use or disclose your information or communications to do things like: (i) comply with the law or respond to lawful requests or legal process; (ii) protect the rights or property of us, our agents, members, our customers, and others including to enforce our agreements, policies and terms of use; (iii) respond to emergencies; (iv) initiate, render, bill, and collect for services; or (v) facilitate or verify the appropriate calculation of taxes, fees, or other obligations due to a local, state, or federal government requirement, if any.

Passive Anonymous and Aggregated Non-Personal Information. You agree that we may share with third parties passive, anonymous and non-personal information about you that is aggregated and is not intended to allow these third parties to identify you. This non-personal information is usually obtained through automated means as described in Section I.B. above.



Under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), protected health information includes any information about the health status, provision of healthcare or payment of healthcare that can be linked to a specific individual. In connection with its provision of the Service and the Site, Access Health does not create, receive, maintain or transmit any of your protected health information on behalf of a covered entity (e.g., healthcare providers, health plans and healthcare clearinghouses) or a vendor to a covered entity (known as a business associate under HIPAA). Access Health has partnered with third parties who arrange for the provision of the healthcare services you may receive through your use of the Service and Site.

Third-Party Links. The Service may contain links to third-party websites or applications. Please be aware that Access Health cannot control and is not responsible for the information-collection practices of such websites or applications, which may differ from those of Access Health. We encourage you to review and understand the privacy policies and terms and conditions of these web sites applications before providing any information to them.

Data Security. We maintain a variety of commercially reasonable safeguards designed to protect your information from unauthorized access and disclosure. For example, we use industry accepted tools and techniques to protect against unauthorized access to our systems.

You should be aware, however, that Access Health has no control over the security of other websites or applications that you might visit or use even when a link to those websites or applications is available in or through the Service. If you share your computer or wireless device or use a computer or wireless device that is accessed by the general public, remember to sign off and close the web browser when you have finished your session. This will help to ensure that others cannot access your information.

We want you to feel confident using the Service. However, no system can be completely secure. Therefore, although we take commercially reasonable steps to secure your information, we do not promise, and you should not expect, that your information or other communications always will remain secure. In the event of a breach of the confidentiality or security of your personal information, we will notify you if reasonably possible and as reasonably necessary so that you can take appropriate protective steps. We may notify you under such circumstances using the e-mail address(s) we have on record for you.

When registering for access to a secure area of the Site, we will ask you to select a username and password. We recommend that you do not divulge your password to anyone. We will never ask you for your password in an unsolicited phone call or in an unsolicited email. Also, remember to sign out of the registered site and close your browser window when you have finished your session. This is to ensure that others cannot access your personal information and correspondence when accessing your computer.

Children. The Service is not intended for persons under the age of 18. Access Health does not knowingly market to, or solicit information, accept service or collect information from any person under the age of 18. If Access Health becomes aware that any person submitting information to the Service is under the age of 18, we will attempt to disable the account and any related information as soon as possible. We require that only persons 18 years of age or older use the Service. By using the Service, you hereby represent that you are at least 18 years old. Any ratings for Services provided by a third party shall have no bearing on this limitation.

Changes to this Privacy Policy. We may occasionally update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices. When we post changes to this Privacy Policy we will revise the date at the top of this Privacy Policy. If we make any material changes to our Privacy Policy we will notify you by sending an e-mail to the e-mail address(s) you provided to us and by prominently posting notice of the changes on the Site. We will give you an opportunity to opt out of any materially changed Privacy Policy or, alternatively, to delete the information you have provided to us. If you are using the Service from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored and processed in the United States where our servers are located and our central database is operated. The data protection and other laws of the United States and other countries might not be as comprehensive as those in your country. By using the Service you consent to your information being transferred to our facilities and to the facilities of those third parties with whom we share it as described in this Privacy Policy.
